Traffic School
2 f/3 m
Approx. 1 hr + intermission
Four residents of a tiny Southern town begrudgingly appear for traffic school with the overzealous town sheriff. As the day goes on, the gathering shifts from a run-of-the-mill, sleep-on-your-desk-level-boring traffic class to an exposé of each students' closely held secrets. This play tackles the personal side of reproductive rights, institutionalized racism, and lack of access to treatment for addiction.
